ArborGuy AnchorPlate

The new ArborGuy AnchorPlate is designed as the lowest profile “deadman” anchor system available.

This method of securing trees has many advantages over staking and is suitable for large root-balled trees.  The new ArborGuy AnchorPlate is designed as the lowest profile ‘deadman’ anchor system available and provides a complete package – no further parts required.

*For trees larger than 40cm girth, use two SASAP kits per tree, six anchor wires positioned equally around the rootball, the two straps installed in a ‘Star of David’ pattern.

Note, consideration should be given to tree crown shape, size and density, location, and prevailing wind speed. Large, dense and/or tall crowns in exposed or roof top situations with high wind speeds may require extra stability

 

WIRE:

  • Dimensions: 6mm diameter 7×7 strand galvanised rope
  • Assembly safe working load 500kg
  • Manufactured to BSEN12385-4, BSEN13411-1,2,3, BSEN13414-1

STRAP:

  • Dimensions: 35mm wide, 8mtrs long

AnchorPlates:

  • Galvanised mild steel

 

Maintenance

  • Re-tension strap 3 weeks after installation and again after 3 months
